Remington Hepburn No. 3 Falling Block Rifle. These were made 1880 to 1907 with approximately 1200 made per year. Total production of only about 10,000 makes the Hepburn rifles pretty rare. The serial # is 3438 which by our research makes this gun a 1883 model year. This example is missing the front stock. The butt stock is in excellent condition and is as tight as the day it was made. What's left of the bluing appears to have water marks but the metal itself is in great shape.
