The Browning model 1955 was introduced in 1954 and discontinued in 1969. The serial number on this gun is 611566 which makes it a 1968-year model. This gun is in great overall condition, the bluing is bright on 95 % of the gun. In front of the grip on the left side you can see the blue is worn and there is some pitting to the metal.
