From June 1942 until April 1945 the slave laborers at the Spreewerk Werk Grottau factory in Grottau produced the Walther designed P38. This pistol has the cyq mark as well as the eagle 88 mark. All parts bear matching serial numbers except the magazine which appears to be a newer replacement. The serial number on this gun indicates that it was made November 1942
